The Topbond Group are well known as concrete repair specialists and since they are also establishing themselves as experts in railway works, they were ideally suited to carry out repairs to Gravesend Railway Station.
The station is a fine example of Victorian railway architecture but unfortunately its rendered brick façade was showing considerable signs of damage, brought about by exposure to the elements and building movement. Topbond were called in to carry out concrete and painting works, which have not only improved the appearance but have also extended the working life of the building.
