HTS were required to carry-out a roped access inspection of the Durham County Hall to locate, describe and quantify the current condition of the reinforced concrete external window sections and other areas of the towers.
The final report included CAD drawings, a schedule of defects and a formulated repair specification.
Following their report, HTS later won the tender to repair, clean and repaint affected areas.
This site and its usage was complex, requiring close liaison with the client, their consulting engineers, contractors, building occupants and other stakeholders in the project.
