Refurbishment of Victorian Bus Shelter, Margate

The effects of time and the sea had taken their toll on the Victorian Shelter on the Margate Seafront, but, assisted by a Heritage Lottery Grant, Thanet Council have recently been able to carry out a refurbishment of this elegant listed building.

Cast stone specialists Broadmead Renaissance Cast Stone were called in by main contractors Crispin & Borst to produce Reconstructed Yorkstone Bullnose steps and copings to provide as close a match as possible to the original stone features.
