With over 30 years’ experience of working in, on and under water, and trained commercial divers in the management team, Topbond are well equipped to undertake works in this demanding environment.

Many repair contracts involve works over and in rivers and waterways, and Topbond have undertaken scour protection works, coffer dams, repairs to river walls, gabion works, as well as bridge repairs.  We also have experience of working in tidal waters and of working in accordance with Port of London procedures.

Intaspan, the footbridge design and build division, is often called upon to erect bridges over water, and the marine division also gets involved in repairs to pontoons, lock gates and other marine structures.

Access by boat or barge can offer significant advantages and cost savings over traditional access methods and Topbond own a range of water-borne craft to undertake works in the marine environment.
