Entrance Pillars to Hospital, London

Cast stone specialists Broadmead Renaissance Cast Stone recently manufactured replacement pillars for the entrance to the world-famous Royal Marsden Hospital in London, famous for its pioneering work in the field of cancer care.

The Victorian building is surrounded by metal railings with a stone plinth and feature entrance gate pillars. Some of the stonework was badly eroded and during a major refurbishment of the building, BRCS were asked to cast plinths and pillars to match the existing stonework.
